Title: Programmer, Web (PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL Programmer) (NOC: 2174)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Salary: $20.50 to $27.50 Hourly for 35 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: 2013/08/01

Location: St. Catharines, Ontario (1 vacancy)

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):Not applicable, Not required

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Help desk, Research and development institution , Consulting firm

Specific Skills: Write, modify, integrate and test software code, Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required, Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions, Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications, Research and evaluate a variety of software products, Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges and internet-based applications, Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other internet applications

Programming Languages: HTML, XML Technology (XSL,XSD,DTD), Java Script, CSS, PHP, SQL

Computer and Technology Knowledge: Windows, Internet, Web site creation and management software, Database software, Programming languages, Software development

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Sitting
